Meet Magda Korakhashvili, 24, a recent graduate of BIU's International MBA Program. Magda was born and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia. After graduating high school, she moved to Vienna, where she studied business administration at the Lauder Business School, while simultaneously completing a Law degree on line from a Georgian University.

Six Over Six, headed by Dr. Ofer Limon - a graduate of all three Faculty of Engineering degrees - is based on a breakthrough technology which performs full optometric testing by means of a software application alone.
Dr. Meital Shviro: Nanotech Global
Dr. Meital Shviro first became interested in energy research during her undergraduate studies at BIU. "Being part of the group or researchers trying to make the world greener is what attracted me initially to the field of fuel cells" she says. Her interest evolved to a PhD on synthesis and characterization of nickel nanostructures from an organometallic precursor, in the lab of Prof. David Zitoun in the Department of Chemistry. She is currently pursuing postdoctoral research at the Institute of Energy and Climate Research, Electrochemical Process Engineering (IEK3) at Forschungszentrum Jülich in Germany and hopes to start her own research group in the future.
BIU Alumna Empowers Social Change in Arab Sector
As a certified family and couples therapist in her native Nazareth, and a lecturer and Dean of Students at Sakhnin Academic College, Dr. Amal Fahoum-Taha is an agent of change in Israel's Arab sector. With a PhD in psychology from BIU and training in its Psycho-Cardiology Lab, she is making her mark, serving as a model for young Arab women.
Representing Israel in the Rio Paralympics
Competing in wheelchair tennis at the Rio 2016 Paralympics, BIU alumnus Itai Erenlib and teammate Shraga Weinberg just barely missed out on a bronze medal in the men's Quad Doubles after falling in a third-set tie-breaker with the British team. But the near win itself is a cause for celebration as it attests to Erenlib's tenacious efforts to overcome a life-changing injury incurred while serving as an IDF officer in the Paratroopers' Special Forces.
